If you’ve had a few social media posts that have proven to be especially popular with your audience, you may be looking for ways to repurpose that content and make the most of its success.

But straight up reposting might not go down well with your audience. You may worry they’ll see it as boring or repetitive – and leave you looking bad in the process.

That’s why you should consider our top tips for repurposing your content and making the most of the successful posts.

Give them a try; you never know how much more mileage you could be getting from your content!

 

Post it on another social network.

It may sound obvious, but this is the simplest way to get more attention on an existing piece of content. Let’s say you posted it on Facebook and it was a huge success. That’s awesome! But there are many of your followers on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other social networks who may not have Facebook – and therefore wouldn't have seen it.

By posting it in multiple places, you’re ensuring it can go as far as possible.

 

Turn your quotes into cool graphics.

If you have a tweet that’s gone viral or an article with some awesome quotes, turn your best clips into a visual graphic featuring the very best of what you have to say. Here's an example.

The graphic image can then be posted to Instagram, Pinterest or other visual platforms to draw attention to your message.

And even if you repost it in the same place, it’s still enough of ‘something different’ to be acceptable.

Another option based on this idea is to put together a selection of your best quotes and publish them as a video presentation.

 

Take the discussion further.

If you’ve had a blog or social media post that’s been particularly successful, you may want to take the discussion further by hosting an online chat session or making a video on the topic.

It’s a great way to keep your audience talking about the original point while still adding some new insights through a different platform.
